Red Oak Drug and The Prescription Shop are full service pharmacies that also specialize in compounded prescriptions for doctors, dentists, and veterinarians. For more than 25 years, our caring pharmacists have worked with physicians to meet the unique prescription medication needs for individual patients. The most important benefit compounding offers is for patients who may have difficulty taking or finding a commercially available medication. When the Tamiflu®  shortage hit in 2009, Red Oak Drug was ready with a compounded form to assist those most vulnerable; children and the elderly. Our Specialists even made it taste good with a bubble gum flavor! Some patients are allergic to preservatives and dyes or have a difficult time swallowing a pill; our pharmacists are always ready to work with the patient's physician to prepare a medication in a unique formulation or delivery method.

Red Oak Drug and The Prescription also offer convenient drive-through service for all of your prescription needs.
